Being in silence means surrendering to the loving energy that flows through us in every moment of our lives.
Silence transforms, creates space, it relaxes, gives energy, and brings inspiration to your world. It changes the world that you and i experience, simply by being in silence.

 

What is “Kickstart – The Silence”?

“Kickstart – The Silence” was created out of a desire to help people spend time in silence every day. In “Kickstart – The Silence” you sit still, with an open mind, you don’t talk and you experience the silence. Your head and feelings can rush through, but you just let it be as it is. If you’ve heard of doing meditation or visualisation, it might be possible that you felt some inner resistance. Some people find it quite hard to meditate or do visualisation and i do understand that, because it is almost impossible to not have thoughts or having to see something on purpose in a detailed form. “Kickstart – The Silence is no meditation- or visualisationgroup, you don’t have to make a lot of effort to try to make your head quiet or seeing specific images. All you have to do is experience the silence and focus there.

If we spend at least 10 minutes in silence each day, it becomes easier to experience the loving world around us, the world we so deeply want and are capable of experiencing. “Kickstart – The Silence” offers you a dynamic stream of possibilities to start a daily routine that encourages you to be in your own silence. It is a practical online and offline space where, together with a group of people, you commit to spend 10 to 60 minutes a day in silence, and where the power of community among a group of like-minded people makes it easier for you to enter the flow of silence each day and embrace this new habit.

“Kickstart – The Silence” is a loving space where you take responsibility for the silence within yourself, above the rush of everyday life. The power of the group helps you remember to be in silence. And by choosing to spend 10 to 60 minutes in silence every day, you actively take part in making your own life and the world around you more beautiful. By being in silence, you allow the flow of life to present the direction, what makes it easier for you to follow the path intended for you. The silence opens up the space where life guides you and you can steer your experiences with ease. Not by doing the hard work yourself, but by following the inspiration that life presents to you.

You’ll discover that being in silence helps you feel more at peace, makes it easier to process difficult (everyday) experiences, and allows the flow of the loving energy within your body to expand. You’ll start to have more ideas, and the magic of life, that sense of wonder, will find its way back into your experience. The more people take the time to be in silence, the more the energy field of love on earth is strengthened. In this way, together, we can make the world a loving place again.

 

Who can join “Kickstart – The Silence”?

Bathing in silence is important for everyone, even if it’s just 10 minutes a day. So feel free to join, participate and enjoy together!

Also feel free to sign up if you already take a few moments each day to sit in silence. Your presence in the group holds a space that makes it easier for others to bathe in silence. For you yourself, experiencing the silence can be even more enjoyable, because you’ll know that you will sit together with other people all over the world.

But sitting in silence is especially a nurturing experience for you, if you feel like the world is demanding a lot from you right now. For example, if you’re experiencing stress at work, within your family, or in your social circle. Do your thoughts keep racing and the stories in your head keep rattling on? Do you sometimes feel powerless, angry, or disappointed in other people or circumstances? Do you feel physical discomfort or are you ill? Then it might be very helpful to take some time in silence, so that you can help yourself on all those levels where you could use some relief.

Sometimes you may find it harder to hear or feel the silence within. The power of the group, knowing you’re not alone, knowing you’re doing it together with others, might be just that little spark you need to feel your life is still flowing.

 

The power of the group

When you want to get used to a new habbit, it can be quite challenging to commit to this habbit, even though you know it might be very important for you. Being in silence is one of the most important elements of life that carries you through. When you choose to be silent 10 to 60 minutes a day, you’ll notice that more things start to fall in place more naturally. You can do this on your own and take time every day to sit in silence. But you can also use the power of the group as an active reminder for you to take some time in stillness. This reminder is especially helpful if you know that sometimes you might simply forget you wanted to sit in silence, and suddenly the day has already flown by. But even if you just enjoy being in silence together with other people, whether far away or near by, the group is a wonderful place. There is no need to be still with everybody on one moment of the day, althought it might be more powerful when more people join together on the same time. You can choose your own time and place to be in silence. A time that suits you the best on that day or in daily life. Other groupmembers can choose to join you in the silence or find another moment that fits better for them. The main thing is that everyone who joins the group takes some time in silence every day, whenever it suits them. The chat notifications you receive from others throughout the day can help remind you to take a moment of silence.

When you join “Kickstart – The Silence”, you’ll be added to “Your Safe Space of Silence”, a secure online chat invironment within the website. In this group you share an emoticon when you choose to spend a certain amount of time in silence. If you’re logged out of the website and have enabled the notifications from your e-mail provider and the chat settings, you’ll recieve an e-mail at various times throughout the day letting you know who is taking a moment of silence. The e-mail can be experienced as a reminder to also take time in silence. This way, you can be in silence with multiple people around the world at a specific moment and easily go with the flow of the group. You can even forget to think about what would be the right moment to be in silence! You can simply follow your own inspiration when you see the e-mail pop-up or an emoticon appear in the webpage and choose if you want to take some time in silence too. In that way every emoji can serve as a reminder for you to choose your own moment of silence that day. You don’t have to do it alone, covering your house with notes, or set your alarm clock to ten alarms. We can experience a warm hug and loving flow of life together.

Beside the practical benefits of a group, you create a shared space for everyone to rest in, by being in silence together, in this way we accelerate a natural flow of renewal on our earth.

You can add yourself to the space by sending an e-mail, after which you’ll be added to “Your Safe Space of Silence”, you’ll recieve a link to this group in your welcome e-mail. “Your Safe Space of Silence” is a chatgroup on this website, in which only an emoticon is shared to focus yourself in the space of silence. The chat opens on…. Only people who’ve joined “Kickstart – The Silence” will be added to the chatgroup. “Your Safe Space of Silence” isn’t a social media platform, you won’t be able to message people personally.

By joining “Kickstart – The Silence”, you’re agreeing to only share emoji’s in the groupchat. When you choose to use the chat diffently than sending an emoticon per silent moment, your account will be removed. You’ll recieve further practical information and reminders to go in silence in follow-up e-mails on the e-mailadress you’ve provided when you registered. You can also gift “Kickstart – The Silence” to someone else by sending the sign-up e-mail. Pilot

In this pilot you can join Kickstart – The Silence. I use a privacy-protected chat environment on my own website. The chat(invironment) will be stored on a server that is free from big compagnies that sell personal data. Your information will be private. For this chatinvironment i use basic software which i can extend on the long term, unless the basic functions provide enough users comfort.

Because i believe that we are able to experience more love on our earth en feel empowered by the power of the group, i choose to launch Kickstart – The Silence ahead of time. In this manner we are able to experience the pro’s and learn which con’s we would like to adjust for more users pleasure, when it comes to reminding ourselves to be silent. I would like to learn if the e-mailnotifications make a sufficient contribution to reminding us to bathe in silence. How is the user experience of the reminder? Does this work for you? Do you recieve to much e-mails? Do you prefer an app that sends realtime notifications after all? I can send you an e-mail about this in the meantime, or you can e-mail your feedback yourself to thesilence@purelove.care.

At the moment i have set it up so that you receive a reminder e-mail every 4 hours at the e-mail address you provided. You can switch off the notifications yourself in the chatinvironment. You cannot slumber the notifications for a set amount of time. You have to remind yourself to switch on the notifications, otherwise you won’t recieve an e-mail guided from the software. To be able to recieve notifications, you also have to set up your personal e-mailclient (gmail, hotmail, outlook, thunderbird etc.) in a way that it can recieve every e-mail entering in your inbox.  When you switch on the pushnotifications from your e-mailclient and the chat, you’ll recieve a notification in your e-mailinbox when someone shared an emoticon in the chat in the last 4 hours. At this time of the pilot you won’t recieve realtime pushnotification from every now chatmessage and you can’t slumber the notification about messages in the chat.

Preparation

In the silence you’re in stillness, even if your thoughts race. The silence isn’t necessarily an enclosed noice-free space, you are the silence. You can go outside in nature or be inside on a place where you feel comfortable. It doesn’t matter where you are, it is about being silent and really taking the time to sit in stillness and let everything be as it is, whatever you feel, think, experience, without changing anything or doing anything as visualisation or meditation, just be and be still.

Be aware of your body, with your eyes open or closed, for as long as you wish. If you prefer and find it convenient, you can set an alarm clock (preferably an analog one) for the desired end time. Choose to be in silence for at least 10 minuten or at most 60 minutes. You’re by yourself or you can be in silence with other people on the place that you are.

In your preparation you can choose to pay attention to the following elements:

Feel for how long you want to be in silence (10, 15, 20, 30, 45 of 60 minutes)

Set an alarm clock (preferably an analog one) for the desired end time

Choose a place to be in silence and sit down there

Share an emoticon in “Your Safe Space of Silence” to focus yourself in the silence

Turn off your smart devices and devices that emit radiation (phones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.) to minimize interference in your immediate energy field.

It is possible to sign up for “Kickstart – The Silence” freely, there is no set fee. However, you may make a voluntary contribution by making a donation. In the welcome e-mail, you’ll find a donationlink, you may use that to contribute if you like. If you are unable to make a donation via the link provided in the e-mail but would still like to make a donation, please feel free to send an e-mail to explore together what other options are available.
